About The Beautiful USA

About Me

This blog chronicles the trips my family took while living in the United States as non-immigrants. The name comes from the simple feeling that kept repeating across those years: this is a beautiful country, and there is far more to see than the standard commercial travel lists suggest.

That origin matters, but the diary is not only for immigrants or newcomers. Many local Americans have not had the chance to explore the places we explored either. The goal is to build a practical diary for everyone: families new to the country, people who have lived here all their lives, and anyone trying to choose meaningful trips without wasting time or money.

Most of these journeys are value-focused. I care about economical travel, practical routes, good tradeoffs, and getting the best experience for the budget. Some entries cover famous landmarks. Others focus on quieter towns, routes, viewpoints, parks, food stops, and hidden gems that only made it into our plans after extensive research.

This is not a sponsored guide, advertising project, travel agency, affiliate site, or paid publication. It is a private hobby record of what we actually did, what felt worth it, what surprised us, and what another traveler might want to borrow while planning their own version of America.
